Eucharistic Adoration scheduling

Keep Adoration shifts covered, from one evening to 24/7.

Acolyte helps your parish organize adorers for a fixed Adoration period, an all-day devotion, or around-the-clock Eucharistic Adoration. Volunteers can choose open shifts while admins can still see where coverage is needed.

Clear coverage gaps

01

Choose the time pattern that fits your chapel

Set up a fixed start and end for a single Adoration event, or use ongoing coverage for recurring all-day or 24/7 Adoration. Choose your shift length and how many days of the schedule to keep ready.

02

Mix shifts with whole-event roles

Adorers can take individual shifts while a priest or deacon serves a whole-event role for exposition or another part of the event. Each role can have its own sign-up or coordinator-approval method.

03

Make open shifts easy to find

Qualified volunteers can claim available shifts on the mobile app or volunteer website. Coverage counts help admins spot gaps; optional reminders, withdrawal handling, event notes, and links help everyone stay informed.

Common questions

Adoration scheduling questions

Can Acolyte handle 24/7 Eucharistic Adoration?

Yes. Ongoing coverage supports recurring shifts and keeps upcoming days ready, including around-the-clock schedules. You choose shift length and how far ahead the schedule is generated.

Can we use it for Friday Adoration that ends the same day?

Yes. A fixed-window event has a start and end time, with shifts inside that window. You can repeat it on the dates your parish needs.

Do all Adoration shifts need an administrator to assign them?

No. Adorers can self-schedule, request approval, or be assigned by a coordinator. You can choose a different method for clergy or other roles.
